THE KITCHEN BEHIND YOUR LUNCH
Born and trained in Berlin, Alexander built his career across Michelin-starred restaurants in Germany and Austria — including Rutz in Berlin, one of Germany's most celebrated three-Michelin-star kitchens. His path took him through Asia, Switzerland and France, through plant-based kitchens and fine dining institutions, before bringing him to Portugal.
When he co-founded Nourish & Nosh, the standard didn't change. What changed was the context. Every morning from 5am, Alexander and his team cook from scratch — no frozen shortcuts, no batch cooking from yesterday, no compromises on ingredients. Just real food, made properly, delivered fresh.
Since childhood, the kitchen has been my sanctuary. What I do now is the same, just for more people. The standard doesn't change because the setting does.
— Chef Alexander Lange, Co-founder & Head Chef

At the heart of Nourish & Nosh is a belief that food should nourish both people and the planet. We are guided by seasonality, 100% organic ingredients, respect for local farmers, thoughtful nutrition, and responsible systems from kitchen to delivery. We offer three ways to enjoy Nourish & Nosh:
A subscription removes daily decisions and ensures you’re consistently nourished throughout the week.
It’s ideal if you want structure, ease, and a routine that supports your wellbeing, without having to plan, shop, or think about food every day. Subscriptions can be paused or adjusted as needed.
And you also pay 15% less than ordering from À La Carte.
À la carte allows you to choose individual meals from our weekly menu, perfect if you want flexibility or to try Nourish & Nosh for the first time.
Subscriptions offer a more seamless experience, with meals delivered weekly according to a program designed around balance, nourishment, and ease.
Pre-ordering allows us to cook everything fresh, avoid food waste, and work closely with local suppliers based on real demand.
This system supports our zero-waste philosophy and guarantees the quality, seasonal and freshness of every meal.
We currently deliver to Lisbon, Cascais, Sintra, Caparica, and Aroeira. If you’re unsure whether we reach your area, feel free to contact us.
Orders must be placed by 4pm for the following delivery week. This ensures we can plan sourcing, preparation, and delivery responsibly.
